The AML Consulting (Global) Group is an established fast-expanding Group of companies based in Northfleet, Kent that operates in the UK and globally specialising in providing training and consultancy services in the public and private sectors. We have an exciting new opportunity for an Office  Administrator to join our progressive and successful team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and a can-do attitude,[NA1]  working directly with the CEO, senior staff and consultants.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Group
  • Develop and maintain office systems
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Manage logistical arrangements – domestic and international (fights/hotels/meeting rooms etc)
  • Update our Project Management/Customer Relationship Manager (Scoro) database
  • Liaise with consultants & clients
  • Organise meetings (inhouse and external)
  • Administer our Skills for Justice training programs
  • Onboard new consultants.
  • Prepare consultant and client contracts
  • Administer the licencing of our immersive training platform
  • Reconcile invoices against contracts

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different administrative tasks as necessary in a professional and friendly manner within the overall business objectives of the group.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in office administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English first language)
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Able to deal with work in a confidential and sensitive manner
  • Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative
  • Excellent timekeeping and ability to prioritise work
  • Methodical and well organised
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Proficient in using IT
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Preferred but Not Essential Skills

  • MS Sharepoint and Teams
  • Multilingual
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Able to use Apple iMac computers

Academic or Professional Qualifications Required

Must have:

  • Minimum of grade C Maths & English GSCE or equivalent
  • At least three other grade C or above GCSEs or equivalent

And one of the following:

  • At least 2 or More A levels (grade C or higher) or equivalent
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or 3 Administration or similar

(If the applicant can demonstrate significant employment experience (over 5 years in role) in their CV then these criteria may be negotiable)

Desirable Skills

  • University Degree
  • Qualification in Learning & Development
